Why Multi-Line Matters

Most NJ contractors are buying insurance one line at a time. It costs them.

Multi-line quoting in one intake gets you three things. Coordinated coverage. Carrier package credits (5–15% off when you bundle). One renewal anchor instead of six. It's how the program is supposed to work — most contractors have never seen it work that way.
01Foundational

General Liability

The foundation every NJ contractor carries. $1M/$2M is standard — but the limit isn't the whole story. Structure (AI, primary & non-contributory, waiver of subrogation, per-project aggregate) is what determines whether your policy actually responds.

02Required

Workers Compensation

NJ requires WC for any employee, including most officers — different from PA and NY. Class codes can swing your premium 30–100%. We work AmTrust, The Hartford, Travelers, and Nationwide, plus the State Fund.

03Most-missed

Commercial Auto

Work trucks, vans, trailers, employee drivers. The single most common gap in NJ contractor insurance is personal auto policies on business vehicles — they exclude business use. The claim happens, the carrier denies. We fix that.

04Inland Marine

Tools & Equipment

Your tools, your trailer, your installation floater for materials in transit and on job sites. Standard commercial property doesn't cover tools off premises — and that's where most of your tools live. We bundle it in.

05Under-bought

Commercial Umbrella

Extra limits over your GL, Auto, and Employer's Liability. A $1M GL isn't enough for a serious bodily injury claim — and an umbrella gives you $1M, $2M, $5M, or more for fractions of what those higher limits cost on each policy.

06Project / Annual

Builders Risk

Coverage for the structure under construction. Required on most commercial jobs and a lot of higher-end residential. Project-by-project or annual reporting form, whichever fits your work flow.

V2 Roadmap — Months 4–12

Four more lines on the way.

Bonds is the closest — placeholder lead capture is live for contractors who need a bond now. CPL, Pro Liability, and EPLI follow as standalone pages in V2.
CPL

Contractors Pollution Liability

Pollution-related liability arising from your contracting operations. Restoration, excavation, environmental remediation — standard GL excludes it. CPL fills the gap.

E&O

Professional Liability

Design-build, MEP design, project management. If your work product includes design or professional judgment, GL doesn't cover financial-loss claims. Pro Liability does.

Bonds · Live now

Surety Bonds

Bid bonds, performance bonds, payment bonds. Travelers Surety and additional surety market partners. Tell us you need a bond — we'll set you up.

EPLI

Employment Practices

Wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation. Increasingly relevant as contractor operations scale past 5–10 employees.

Common Questions

About the coverage stack.

Do I have to buy all six lines from you?
No. We quote what you want quoted. Most contractors end up wanting the whole stack with one agency because it's simpler and the carrier credits are real — but if you want to buy just your GL with us and keep your WC where it is, that's fine.
Can I get a quote without committing to anything?
Of course. The quote is just a quote. Fill out the intake, see what the program looks like, decide whether you want to bind. No pressure.
How long does the multi-line quote take?
The intake takes 5–7 minutes. GL, Auto, and Tools typically come back same-day or next-day. WC usually takes 1–3 business days. Builders Risk depends on project specifics.
What if my current agent has my WC but not my GL?
Most common situation we see. We quote what you need, and if you move lines to us we coordinate the transition — broker-of-record letters, COIs for ongoing jobs, audit reconciliation, all of it.
Who handles claims?
Claims go through the carrier. We facilitate — your advocate with the carrier, we help you document, we push back when the carrier is slow or unfair. See how we work claims.
Ready When You Are

Quote the full stack in one intake.

GL, WC, Auto, Tools, Umbrella, Builders Risk — one form, one quote, one renewal anchor. 5–7 minutes. We'll come back with the program, not just a number.
