Something happen on a job? Call us first.
One number — (908) 730-6443. We report the claim, document it correctly, and deal with the carrier. You focus on the job. Don’t call the carrier yourself and give a recorded statement with no one advocating for you — call us, even if you’re not sure it’s a claim.

During business hours.
(908) 730-6443. We log the claim, walk you through documentation needs, and either submit it directly to the carrier or coach you through the carrier’s online submission. Either way, we know it’s in the queue.
Use your dec page.
For nights, weekends, and holidays that can’t wait, your declarations page lists your carrier’s current claim reporting number. Report the loss there, then call us the next business day so we can take it from there.
Photos, witnesses, the basics.
Photos of the scene, the damage, contributing factors. Witness names and contact info. Police report if there’s one. Don’t admit fault, don’t make recorded statements without us looped in, don’t commit to repair estimates before the carrier inspects.
The four-stage claim advocacy.
Submission & assignment
We submit cleanly, with the documentation already aligned to the carrier’s claim form. Reduces back-and-forth and shortens the assignment clock.
Adjuster engagement
We follow the adjuster, push for prompt inspection, ensure the right experts are engaged (engineer, IH consultant, etc.) when the loss requires it.
Negotiation
We push back on lowball reserves, unsupported denials, ACV vs. RCV disputes, and slow-rolled response. The carrier knows we’re watching.
Post-claim review
After closure, we review your mod (WC) or loss runs (GL/Auto) to make sure nothing flowed onto your record that shouldn’t have.
What you do first shapes the whole claim.
Before you call anyone else, work through this — it protects both the site and your coverage position.
- Make the site safe. Prevent further damage or injury first — everything else can wait a few minutes.
- Photograph everything — wide shots and close-ups, before anything is moved or cleaned up.
- Don’t admit fault and don’t speculate about the cause, to anyone.
- Don’t discuss coverage with the GC, the property manager, or another contractor’s carrier. Refer them to us.
- Get names and numbers of everyone present — workers, subs, witnesses.
- Keep the damaged property. Don’t throw anything out.
- Write down what happened while it’s fresh, with the date and time.
- Call us at (908) 730-6443 — even if you’re not sure it’s a claim.
If someone’s injured
A workplace injury has different first steps than property or liability damage. Get the worker appropriate medical care immediately, secure the area, and collect the names of anyone who saw what happened. Then call us — workers’ comp has its own reporting clock, and we make sure the claim is filed correctly and on time.
After hours, and it can’t wait
Your declarations page lists your carrier’s current claim reporting number. Report the loss there, then call us as soon as you can and we’ll take it from there. Your dec page is the one document that always carries your exact carrier and current claim line — so it’s never out of date.
When in doubt — call us first.
During business hours, (908) 730-6443 is the right first call. We'll document it, report it properly, and get it into the carrier's queue cleanly.
