NJ Contractors Insurance Center is the contractor insurance program of Friedlander Associates, Inc., a licensed New Jersey insurance agency since 1987. All insurance business is transacted by Friedlander Associates, Inc. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" mean Friedlander Associates, Inc. It explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

What we collect

• Information you give us. When you request a quote or contact us, we collect business and personal details — name, business name, address, phone, email, trade, operations, coverage needs, and loss history.
• Information collected automatically. Standard analytics data (pages viewed, device/browser, referring source) via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, and conversion events via our intake platform.
• Cookies. A light footprint — analytics and conversion tracking only. We do not use advertising pixels in this version of the site.

How we use it

• To prepare insurance quotes and place coverage with carriers on your behalf.
• To service your policies — endorsements, certificates of insurance, renewals, claims facilitation.
• To respond to your inquiries and improve the site.

Who we share it with

Your intake data goes only to our underwriters and carrier partners for the purpose of quoting and placing your coverage. We do not sell lead data. We do not share with aggregators. We use trusted service providers (analytics, our intake/CRM platform) under standard confidentiality terms, and we may disclose information where required by law.

If you opt in to receive information about it, your contact details may be shared with that separate entity for that purpose only — and that sharing is never a condition of obtaining insurance. • Email opt-out. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, honored promptly.
• Cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser; the site remains functional.
• Access & correction. Contact us to review or correct the information we hold about you.

Data security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take protection seriously.
